    Nearly 30 years of increasing responsibility in facilities administration, public relations, and customer service with an emphasis on staffing, training, security and safety compliance.
  • Professional Experience
    1996 - 2002
    Managed 50-acre, 740,000 SF Corporate Campus, 300-acre Ambassador University Campus in Texas, 200-acre wilderness camp in Minnesota, and various properties nationwide. Managed all aspects of Facilities including Plant Maintenance, Safety, Security, Custodial, Landscaping, Telecommunications, Auditorium & Special Events, Property Management, Transportation, Recreation, and Architecture. Directed the efforts of 3 site managers and eleven department managers and up to 72 full-time employees. Chaired Safety Committee, created "Right to Know" training, conducted all-employee Hazard training, coordinated phase one and two environmental work in California, Texas and Minnesota. Dealt with regulatory and law enforcement agencies such as AQMD, DTSC, OSHA, City Police and Fire Officials, Secret Service and Federal Marshals. Project leader for corporate relocation (lease negotiation, space planning, tenant improvements). Assisted with the sale of major real estate assets.
    1995 - 1996
    Responsible for staffing, maintenance and operation of Ambassador Auditorium. Negotiated, booked, and managed all special events for Ambassador Auditorium and entire corporate campus. Negotiated agreements with Paramount, Warner Brothers, Columbia Pictures and various other production companies for location filiming.
    1985 - 1995
    Responsible for accounting of revenue. Wrote advertising copy, training manuals, customer service letters and designed business forms. Designed and remodeled the Ticket office for more efficient customer service. Served as Officer for Box Office Management International and was a panel speaker on operations and accounting at national conferences.
    1979 - 1985
    Hired, trained and managed paid docents to conduct tours of the award-winning Ambassador Campus and to staff Campus visitor center. Responsible for Public Information for the College. Assisted with the planning and execution of special events.
    Responsible for the maintenance and physical operation of 80,000 SF home office. Manage security, parking, reception, mail, phone adds/moves, access controls, custodial, landscape, travel and space planning. Manage national vendors for office supplies, toners, uniforms, maintenance supplies and printed materials. Coordinate annual management conference.
