How do I find financial information of companies located at Diosdado Macapagal International Airport, Php?
Financial Services at 09 January 2009 10:01:33
QI'm doing research of financial data regarding companies located at Diosdado Macapagal International Airport, Philippines. I am having a hard time searching for data through the internet. I would like to find a site that would address my requirements.
Ai doubt you will find a site dedicated to this exclusively. wikipedia is a good starting point for information about the philippine airport. it lists many airlines that fly to and from the airport and each one will have a website. any of these companies that are public generally disclose their financial information, which is generalliy available on yahoofinance or other finance sites. if you can't find it there, try bloomberg or reuters (these are paid services so you can try the local library or a friend in finance). not sure by your question if you mean the airline companies at the airport or the concession operators. most of the concession operators will probably be private. one other place is dun and bradstreet, they have company reports for many private companies (not sure if they have companies in the philippines or not) but most of these reports require a fee and only give basic information such as sales, employees etc. hope that helps!

Why did the Philippine Government put the face of former president Diosdado Macapagal in its new P200 bill?
Government at 03 February 2007 11:02:15
QIt's an assignment in Social Studies. I'm just curious because Diosdado Macapagal has his face printed on the P200 bill which is very valuable here in the Philippines because of its high amount while our National Hero, Jose P. Rizal has his face engraved on the P5 coin which is not-so-valuable today because of its mainly low amount.
ABecause the current president of the Philippines Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is directly related to the late and former Philippine President Diosdado Macapagal. Probably wanted to honor her father by putting his face on your P200 bill. Politics in the Philippines is all about connections and once you are the President you become the government--meaning you sort of own the country.

Is there anyone here knows the reason why Cathay Pacific 747-400 diverted to Diosdado Airport last 04/20/08?
Aircraft at 25 April 2008 12:04:25
QI just would like to know the details why Cathay Pacific 747-400 passenger plane diverted to Diosdado Macapagal Airport in Pampanga last April 20, 2008.CX is not a common visitor to DMIA.Diosdado Airport is just 90 km. away from Manila (main route) and there was no reported problem with regards to the operations of Manila Airport.
AYes. Probably because of weather. All airports have their alternate airports not too near to have the same weather conditions but not too far for the aircraft to not reach it with just the remaining fuel.

Would it benefit the Philippines if NAIA is closed and DMIA is made the main International Airport?
Philippines at 11 February 2008 11:02:13
QAfter NAIA has been downgraded for not meeting international standards as an international airport, would closing it and openning DMIA or Diosdado Macapagal Internation Airport be the correct solution? How will having only DMIA as an international airport be advantageous, if NAIA would not be rehabilitated?
AAIR TRAFFIC will be the biggest effect if this ever happen, The zoning with in the vicinity of the old NAIA will change and more growth can be experience because if ever the NAIA was shut down, the height limit of building within the vicinity will change.. high rise building can now be implemented and build, and also land traffic will improve dramatically..

HELP!! Please tell me how to go from Diosdado Macapagal airport to Manila?
Philippines at 06 March 2010 10:03:28
QI need great great help. I didn't realized that i will be landed at Diosdado Macapagal airport which is so far from Manila, I brought two elderly people and have paid for 5 nights hotel at Makati, Manila. Can someone advice me on the bus shuttle service schedule? and fare? I have logon to Philtranco website but i do not understand the schedule. Can someone please help me?? I heard that transfer by taxi is very expensive. May i know roughly how much?
AIf you want the elderly people to travel in comfort, for P2750 (about usd $60) all up, you can travel in an airconditioned van which shows movies. They sell drinks onboard. They sell soft drinks for P15 (about 30cents) per can. If you are interested, get more info herehttp://www.margarita-station.com/airport.htmlThe website explains the process going to DMIA but they do the trip the other way, to Manila. Regards; Jim

Question Regarding Diosdado Macapagal International Airport?
Philippines at 15 October 2009 06:10:09
QCould someone please tell me where in Manila is this airport situated Diosdado Macapagal International Airport?
AThat's up in Pampanga Province. It's short informal name is Clark Field- named in part due to the fact that it occupies what was once the old US Air Force's Clark Air Base property. It features two parallel runways over 10,000ft long which is considered to be very long, thus capable of handling any commercial aircraft up to the A380.The IATA airline code for the airport is CRK. It's about 85kms or 50 miles north of Manila's international airport. It's mostly used by Low Cost Airlines like Cebu Pacific, Air Asia and Tiger Airways. You can fly to a few regional international destination from CRK such as Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur among others. There is no long-haul international services as of yet to/from CRK. You can fly to most points within the Philippines either non-stop or with single connection on Cebu Pacific from CRK.The only "full service" carrier to currently use CRK is Asiana Airlines (from South Korea) with daily service to/from Seoul's Incheon Airport. Both major cargo carriers UPS and FedEx both call at CRK as well.

I need Information How to get Paranaque (JAKA PLAZA)From Pasay Bus station by Public transportation *Commute?
Philippines at 22 August 2012 04:08:31
Qif i will arriving by Airasia destination Clark Airport (Diosdado Macapagal International Airport) and then will ride Bus called "Partas" to Pasay Bus Station. Thanks
Aso you're at Pasay Bus Station, you'll need to either walk or take a jeepney to MIA Road, and look for public AUV's (we call it FX) with a small signboard that says SUCAT. take that one and just tell the driver you're going to Jaka Plaza. he ought to know it since Jaka Plaza is along Sucat Road.
