    Responsible for the sales and marketing of Caterpillar Surface mining products in México. Work with dealers to develop strategies to position products and services bundling solutions for end customers. Currently working in the introduction of the Ultra Class Haul truck (400T) in Mexico market
    2008 - 2010
    Responsible for the development of the Caterpillar Mining Technology products for Latin America territory including Brazil. Work on the development of the Caterpillar Dealers on each country so they are able to support these products in their territory. Support the rest of the regions (APD, EAME, and NACD) in the development of process to sale these products. Work on the sales forecast, and sales completion for each opportunity, as well as follow up with each dealer on the opportunities. Provide supports on the preparation of the RFIs, and RFQ for MineStar bids.
    2004 - 2006
    In charge of the DBSi-SAP implementation at the GECOLSA MACHINERY GROUP composed by the dealerships in Colombia (Gecolsa, and NTS), Guyana (MACORP), Bahamas (M&E) and the satellite office at Miami (MCA). Control over all the activities and negotiations with Caterpillar and accenture, coordinator of the change management across the entire organization “selling” the system to all users for “buy in” the change. Mobilize all dealership towards DBSi by communicating and providing results to the board of directors.
    2003 - 2004
    In charge of a Cat warranty recovery improvement, with benefits of US 200.000. Communicate to all people responsible of the Service department on the Warranty process and how can this impact in the bottom line for the organization. Project was not finalized due the start of DBSi-SAP at the machinery group.
    2002 - 2003
    Responsible of the implementation of DBS (Caterpillar Critical Application software) at MACORP (Cat dealer in Guyana) and M&E (Cat dealer in Bahamas). These tasks were performed onsite and includes Software installation, end user training and change management for all the employees of those companies. This implementation took place to put all the companies in the same platform for the DBSi implementation
    1999 - 2002
    - Installation, commissioning and support of 10 Aquila systems (GPS based blasthole Drilling system) at Intercor Mine site in Colombia (South America). With this experience I proposed some improvements for the depth encoder device installed on DMM Ingersoll Rand drills. I also was in charge of the inventory management and the warranty procedures including some administrative tasks like the Field Service Report issuing. Guided the customer in the proper use of the information provided by the system. Additionally I was part of the crew that installed the Trimble radio infrastructure, METS software and the GPS base at Intercor Mine site.- Installation, commissioning and support of 5 dozer CAES systems at Intercor Mine site. In charge of the technical support in software (CAESOffice, METS) and in hardware during the time of the operation.
    1998 - 1999
    Support the customer in different product lines of Caterpillar equipment. Through ODBC and SQL tools, used the Caterpillar Database in order to define different marketing strategies according to the customers. Suggest Maintenance procedures to the customer in order to have the maximum performance of the equipment at lower cost.
    1997 - 1998
    In charge of the maintenance of Caterpillar construction used equipment at the Dealership. Evaluation and troubleshooting of Caterpillar Equipment. I was in charge of a crew of 5 technicians that performed the reparation of the Machines. Deal with the customer in case of warranty claims.
