AThis is certainly old news, but you already know that. Houston didn't get rid of Astroworld. The owners wanted to sell the land for more money than Astroworld was worth. Therefore it really doesn't matter what I think. The fact is that the owners got to make the decision. And the bottom line was MONEY! But I disagree it was the best. In my opinion it was the worst of all three parks in Texas. It had become an unsupervised young teen hangout and there was too much trouble. People were hesitant to take their families there the last few years of operation and it kept getting worse and worse. So I definitely think it was good thinking to shut it down.

ASince I'm not a mind reader, I have no clue what the stories you are having would be. Houston is not as pretty as some parts of CA, but it has so much more going for it. Katy ISD is a great place for children to attend schools.

AEvery week the Houston City council sets aside time to hear from citizens like yourself. You just sign up that you want to speak to the council. Then you go downtown to city hall at the scheduled time and go before the council and express your concerns and ask them to change the ordinance. It would help if you could bring a bunch of your chauffeur friends with you to show support.
