This position was one that allowed me to dive into three realms of business. In Public Relations I created press releases and testimonials. I helped with creative ideas for marketing pieces and designed pieces for events. I also created magazines for the company and many different promotional items. I also created opportunities for my company to speak at different events and created, developed and ran events in order to support our community while educating people on what LearningRx is. I created relationships with doctor offices and teachers as well as the families that have been prospects, clients and graduates of the LearningRx family. About LearningRxLearningRx significantly improves a student’s ability to learn by first identifying the root cognitive skill weaknesses that keep people from achieving their full potential in school, business, or life. Certified trainers then develop a customized one-on-one, brain training program that strengthens deficient skills, such as attention, comprehension, memory, auditory and visual processing, and problem solving. LearningRx guarantees at least a two-year improvement in deficient cognitive skills in as little as 12 weeks. Parents report that children who complete the program exhibit improved confidence, grades, self-esteem, and overall achievement.

At CSU I was able to intern for Marketing Director Ben Chulick. In order encourage students to attend volleyball games during the season, I came up with the concept of involving the resident advisors and created a competition between the different residence halls. The outcome was a large turn out for each of the games all season. I created the flyers for this competition and coordinated with each resident hall.I also ran the screen during basketball games as well as the halftime competitions. The organization of Ram Town for the football games were also apart of my job. The set up, marketing material distribution and running of our marketing booth was apart of my duties.
