Abstract

An exchanger switch for use with a plurality of batteries that extends the useful life of the batteries. In a generator, a first battery can provide power to an external load while also providing power to recharge a second battery. When the first battery is depleted to a certain voltage level, the exchanger switch is activated and the second battery can begin providing power to the external load. The exchanger switch also directs a portion of the power from the second battery to recharging the first battery. The exchanger switch allows the generator to continue providing power to the external load without interruption. Using the batteries as alternating power sources allows the exchanger switch to increase the useful life of the batteries.

Abstract

A remote procedure call marshaling architecture provides remote procedure call interoperability between computers having arbitrary native data format pointer sizes not conforming to an on-wire multicanonical data representation of the remote procedure calls. The architecture includes an interface description language compiler having a code path generic to effecting marshaling of data structures containing non-conformant pointers. When compiled to run on a computing platform having a native, non-conformant pointer size, the code path is automatically configured to effect marshaling of data structure containing pointers of the computing platform's native pointer size.

A combination comprising (2R,cis)-4-amino-1-(2-hydroxymethyl-1,3-oxathiolan-5-yl)-pyrimidin-2-one or a pharmaceutically acceptable derivative thereof and BMS-200475 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or ester derivative thereof wherein (2R,cis)-4-amino-1-(2-hydroxymethyl-1,3-oxathiolan-5-yl)-pyrimidin-2-one and BMS-200475 are present in the range 200:1 to 1:1 by weight of active ingredients. 2. A combination comprising (2R,cis)-4-amino-1-(2-hydroxymethyl-1,3-oxathiolan-5-yl)-pyrimidin-2-one or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or ester thereof and BMS-200475 or a pharmaceutically acceptable derivative thereof wherein (2R,cis)-4-amino-1-(2-hydroxymethyl-1,3-oxathiolan-5-yl)-pyrimidin-2-one and BMS-200475 are present in the range 100:1 to 10:1 by weight of active ingredients. 3.
