5 years of angel investment, board, and advisory experience since 2004 with several early stage mobile companies in the areas of social networks, UGC, VOIP, messaging, image recognition, smartphone applications, m-commerce enablement, games, entertainment, publishing.

Most recent role: As Vice President & Managing Director of Asia-Pacific & Latin America for AdMob, Niren is responsible for the company’s strategy, operations and expansion across Asia-Pacific and Latin America. Niren has deep entrepreneurial roots. When he was 21 he founded a highly successful processed foods company in Japan, where he was born and raised, and today he is an angel investor in several promising mobile startups on different continents. Niren has a BS in Finance and a MBA from Boston University.
