Abstract

An outside rearview mirror for a vehicle including a rectangular vertical frame adapted to be supported outside a vehicle, a mirror supported by the frame, a gear motor attached to the frame and having a drive shaft, a crank arm secured to the drive shaft, a wiper bracket slidably supported on the frame for vertical reciprocation, a horizontal squeegee member secured to the wiper bracket engaging the mirror front surface, and a connecting rod extending from the outer end of the crankshaft to the wiper bracket so that when the gear motor is energized the wiper bracket is reciprocally actuated to wipe the mirror. As an alternate embodiment, the mirror may include an electric heating element to prevent ice from freezing on the mirror surface.

Abstract

A near supersonic aircraft comprising an airframe that maintains subsonic air flow thereover within the flight envelope of the aircraft. The airframe comprises a right circular conical forward fuselage section, a right circular cylindrical intermediate fuselage section defining a passenger compartment, and an aft fuselage section having a generally circular frontal cross section and a generally rectangular aft cross section.
A submerged semi circular air inlet is disposed between the intermediate and aft fuselage sections at the top thereof. A pair of forwardly swept wings are joined to the fuselage adjacent the circumferentially spaced ends of the air inlet whereby air flow over the fuselage and along the leading edges of the wings is directed into the air inlets at subsonic speeds and at all attitudes of the aircraft within its flight envelope.

According to some embodiments, a callback interface for web accessible services is provided. A Uniform Resource Locator (URL) or similar address is issued by a host associated service to the user. User's browser provides the URL to an activity service, which on the user's behalf contacts the host service indicated by the URL and supporting the callback interface. The activity service then facilitates the user's requests on documents maintained by the host service through stateless calls to the host service providing web accessible services such as document manipulation, image processing, and similar ones.
