    Practice areas included complex commercial litigation, corporate and securities litigation, banking, insurance, reinsurance, environmental, real estate litigation, mediation, and arbitration. Experience included researching and writing briefs and legal memoranda, depositions, court appearances, and extensive trial preparation; co-authored article entitled Review of Tender Offers by Controlling Shareholders, published June 27, 2002, in New York Law Journal; worked as summer associate in D.C. office in Litigation Department.

    During my first summer of college, I went to summer school and took Italian classes. Then I traveled with my folk dance company to the Czech Republic and danced all over the country. During my second summer of college, I attended Middlebury College's intensive Russian language program in Middlebury, Vermont. For the Fall of my junior year, I studied abroad in Avignon, France. During my third summer, I participated in American University's Washington semester program and did an internship at International Technology Consultants, Inc. working in the Russian and Eastern European telecommunications group.
