AYou need a dealers license. Usually the hardest part of getting the license is to have an approved location to sell cars. Problem is that many cities do not like car dealers and so many of the potential locations do not meet zoning requirements for used cars. As a result the lots available charge too much rent. Other than that you need a surety bond and insurance. You also need lots of money to buy inventory, signs etc.I was a car dealer for many years and can tell you that it is not an easy business. You need to really know your product and how to recondition the cars cheap. Most small dealers buy cars at the auction and if you do not know what you are doing you will lose your shirt.

AIt will take time. To get a professional team you need fan demand and also a rich potential owner. The fan base of hockey fans in Quebec city is obvious, but getting a rich owner (along with a new arena and business involvement) is not so clear. Canada is very different than the USA, few rich people step forward in Canada and community ownership is non-existent in the NHL or MLB. The fan base of baseball fans in Montreal is less obvious. But there is a small resurgeance of baseball now that a few quebec players made it to the big leagues. can that grow into enough fan support? Many would say no, but weirder things have come true. Trends come and go. I am pretty sure MLB baseball will come back to montreal, but unfortunately it may not be in my lifetime.

ATrinity Pentecostal Church in LaSalle recently bought the old Nautilus gym and fully renovated it. It is huge in there and they even kept the gym where kids can play basket ball and such. I know that they are open to renting out the building. Email me for more info if you are interested.
