20 Physics???????????????????Physics at 10 November 2010 12:11:43 QIts what I want to study at university... I did A level Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths and really hated the maths. I got an A in Biology and Chemistry, an A* in Physics and I got a B in maths. D'you think I'll cope with Physics in university? AIt depends.Would you be taking Physics B or Physics C?Physics C is Calculus based, and if you don't like Calculus you should definitely not go into Physics C.But Physics B is non-Calculus based. HOWEVER, Calculus concepts do help you as you continue studying Physics.I don't know what Math you have gone up to, but I would suggest that you take Calculus and Physics C simultaneously, OR take Physics B if you want an easier time.

For each object distance, find the image distance and the magnification. Describe each image.a. 40 cmB. 20.0 cmC. 10.0 cmi think one equatiom might jog ur memory, like 1 over p plus 1 over f equals 1 over q or something like tht, plz help me, i need to pass physics fo this quarter, i did the 1st 6 problems, but cant get these last two. thnx very very much AOk, it's been a real long time so I had to pull out the formulas and this is what I came up with.a. f = 20 O = 40 I = 40 M = -1b. f = 20 O = 20 I = 0 M = 0c. f = 20 O = 10 I = 20 M = -2a. 1 / I + 1 / 40 = 1 / 20 1 / I = 1 / 20 - 1 / 40 1 / I = 1 / 40 I = 1 / .025 I = 40 M = - I / OM = - 40 / 40M = -1b. 1 / I + 1 / 20 = 1 / 20 1 / I = 1 / 20 - 1 / 20 1 / I = 0 M = - I / O M = - 0 / 20 M = 0 c. 1 / I + 1 / 10 = 1 / 20 1 / I = 1 / 20 - 1 / 10 1 / I = - 1 / 20 I = 1 / .05 I = 20 M = - I / OM = - 20 / 10M = - 2 I could have missed the boat entirely, but, here's the math. Work it yourself and check.Hope it helps!!
Best Answer : by pruitt801 at 29 April 2008 06:04:44 PHYSICS :|||||||||||||||||||||||||?Physics at 25 December 2011 05:12:03 QWhen a particle suffers a head-on elastic collision with another particle, initially at rest, thegreatest fraction of kinetic energy is transferred ifA. the incident particle is initially traveling very fastB. the incident particle is traveling very slowlyC. the incident particle is much more massive than the target particleD. the incident particle is much less massive than the target particleE. the incident and target particle have the same massthe answer is Ebut why?thank you AIn elastic collision, both kinetic energy and momentum are conserved. In an elastic collision between two bodies of equal masses, the velocities get exchanged. In our case since the second body initially was at rest, after collision, the first body comes to rest transferring 100% of its kinetic energy to the second body!

Who pushes off with the greatest force? Who experiences the greater acceleration? AThis is a pretty rudimentary physics equation. If you don't know how to figure it, you need to stop posting your homework questions online and start reading your textbook. You're going to have a hell of a time in class if you're stumped at such a fundamental level.

Lets say you had jet boots that were unstable. They provided upward thrust but you could not control the thrust. You might suddenly jet off to the right. So now, you have this idea. To a gauntlet, that works simialair to an Ion thruster. Now, you you turn you boots on. Your flying up. You suddenly jerk to the right. You power up your right hand trhruster. How much power would you need to stabilize. When I say power, how much power would you need to add to your gauntlet? Ayou need to apply an equal and opposite force! thats how stabaling works! make your rseultant force = 0.

X-rays, Microwave or infrared radiation? AX-rays.Microwaves and infrared are too well absorbed by metals to be of much use. They simply build up heat or make the electrons crazy. So to speak.X-rays, from decaying radioactive material, can be very good at detecting tiny flaws in metal parts, especially in welds of metallic pieces.
