QI am currently in school for Criminal Justice to become a Paralegal, but I am not liking that path and I want to switch degrees. Can anyone tell me if a business degree is acceptable in personal management or human resource management? Business is the only thing close enough to human resource that they offer.

QIn commercial aircraft that are equipped with a Flight Management Computer (FMC) are flight guidance inputs transferred to the auto-pilot?I have also seen a similar instrument reffered to as a MCDU (Management Control Disply Unit) and it occupies the same space on the control pedestal as the FMC. I know that these instruments provide and calculate information on ETA's fuel management, flight planning etc. But does it actually provide command to the autopilot? And if so, can an entire course be planned and be used to command the AP?How does the Pilot know when various waypoints have been reached or other criteria have been met?I may have confused the FMC and MCDU.

QI have a condo that is about a year old and the management has been nothing but trouble since the building was registered. I asked them how to get in touch with the board of directors and they said that all requests are fielded by the management company and they contact the board on behalf of the tenants. Is this normal? The management company has a relationship with the builder, so when repairs are needed, they do not act in the best interests of the tenants, but defend the builder. Obviously they are not telling the board how many complaints they receive. Any suggestions on what to do about this? I am in Ontario.

QI've got a new macbook pro with windows 7 running on boot camp. It would seem that while in windows my macbook doesn't have adequate fan management and gets very hot very easily with no fan response. Meanwhile in OSX it runs very cool and responds to heat fluctuations. What's a good fan management solution for this?

QLogistics includes physical distribution, warehousing, freight transportation (inbound and outbound from manufacturing plants and in some industries customer service (sales order processing, inventory planning and production planning.Supply chain (for a manufacturer)includes the logistics business functions above, and also includes purchasing, sourcing, procurement, buying, manufacturing operations,production scheduling and inventory control and materials management, facilities location planning, the information technology to coordinate between suppliers, the company, and customers (wholesalers and retailers and end users.In a retail and wholesale company, the manufacturing company would be the suppliers or sometimes the wholesalers for a retail company.Each industry the supply chain is defined slightly different.Suffice it to say that if one had to differentiate between the two it would be to say that Supply Chain Management is looking at active management of the whole enchilada, while logistics can relate to part or parts with the supply chain. Unless an individual wishes to assume it, to make logistics literally synonymous probably requires the use of additional words like "total logistics management" or "integrated logistics management" to definitively mean the same thing.

QI know very little about database systems, but would like to learn more. I would imagine Oracle databases are most widely used in the corporate world, but I am not sure. If you were to recommend a database management system to learn that would allow me to learn beneficial skills directly applicable in the corporate world, which database management system would you recommend learning and which books would be a good place to start? Perhaps recommend, a good intro book, intermediate book and advanced book if you can. Thanks.
