ADepends on the school. Look it up in the school policy booklet (that thick, fine-printed thing they gave you when you started that nobody else read either). Or ask someone in the administration office, the ones who handle the transcripts and "gradey" things. By the way, very few jobs are going to look closely at your GPA, let alone individual grades. The ones that are really anal about grades will get bent about A minus's. If you let yourself get a D, I'm guessing there were also some B's and C's in your college career. Sure, they'll look at your overall just to make sure your not a total jag off slacker, but grades don't matter that much in the real world. And after a couple years they mean even less.

Ait's an enricehd course (basically like ap) that prepares students for university. it is for well-rounded students and requires Community Action service(150 hours), an extended essay (4000 words) as well as the course Theory of knowledge. basically every course is offered(but it depends on the highschool) common courses are world history, biology, chemistry, physics, french, hindu, geograpphy, canadian history (i live in canada) etc. its a reaaly great program and if you want to get into a university but your grades arent quite as high as they would like if thy hear you are in I.B. they will often place you up higher because of the rigour. hope this helps! :)

AFor my school, you can just sign up for it as long as you meet the requirements. A full IB diploma consists of having 4-5 classes be IB classes. I can't remember all the classes I applied for (I can't get into the program until next year), but I do know that since I'm ahead of some students in my grade, I can get into IB. My school is an IB school, so I'm sure that makes a difference. Just make sure you're comfortable with the classes that you're planning on taking in the program or so I've been told (: And just like you, I am also doing this as a college prep.
