AIt seems to me that Higher Ed and Student Affairs is very direct; it will set you up to work in college/university administration. So if that's where you want to work, then that's an excellent choice.

AYou will start by going for a bachelor's degree. You can also start by first going to a community college and getting an Associates degree. At first, you will want to concentrate on your "general education requirements"--those are the courses you have to take, regardless of what major you decide on. Also you can start taking courses that interest you--that will help you decide what you want to major in. If you first get an Associates degree, you will then apply to a four-year school to finish your last two years of college to get your bachelor's degree.After you complete your bachelor's degree and you want to continue your education, you could go to graduate school or to law school. Law school is usually three years full time. That is the highest degree you can earn in the field of law.A master's degree usually takes two years full time. There are master's degrees in many, many fields, so you could choose to specialize in one aspect of the field you majored in at the undergraduate level. It will depend on what career you want to go into or what interests you most (or both). Some careers require a master's degree before you can work at a professional level.It is great that you are thinking about college so early. Keep your grades up! Volunteer. Be a part of your school extracurricular activities (sports, music, drama club, etc.). And keep your eye out for all the things you're curious about and might like to study later on.Good luck!

AYou will almost certainly be required to take several bridging courses — maybe two semesters' worth. Some specialized "Chemical Engineering" degrees, such as NJIT's Master's in Pharmaceutical Engineering, may be a little more accommodating.If you can demonstrate mastery of undergraduate engineering by passing the EIT/FE exam, you may be assigned fewer bridging courses.

AIt will depend on the program and on the university you attend. Some will require a thesis, others won't. Even in the same field different universities have different policies. You'll just have to check. It's required at my current university to write a masters thesis as well as do the coursework; it was not required at my previous university (or often even recommended) for the same degree.

AYou will need to get a related MA not just any degree to keep your job. This leaves you with fewer options. My advice would be to pick the degree which is less teaching specific because it can help if teaching doesn't work out. So focus on some aspect of leaning disbilities or counseling. OR get a degree in principalship if you plan on staying in Education. The bigger money is in administration.

AI think Law School.

AIt would help if you listed a specific profession here, what you got a degree in and what you want to do.However, my best suggestion is to start with an internship in the field that you want to go in. Your master's degree shows that you have ambition, but the internship will give you practical experience in your chosen field.Good luck!

AAre you talking about the Praxis 2? You have to in order to practice SLP in the states. It's part of your licensure and getting your CCCs.
