Qevery newspaper has a columnist who writes about different travel deals on plane tickets, cruises, hotels, etc. Where do they get there information from. I listen to people like clark howard on the radio and he always announces travel specials. How and where does he and others get this type of information from

QI've started to do a lot of traveling by car, listening to the radio and reading papers from around the country. It seems that every other station carries the Limbaugh, Hannity, Colter nitwits who only argue and insult but I've found little, other than NPR, where there are intelligent programs. There must be some thoughtful commentators out there who think before they speak. I haven't listened enough yet to recognize the names in order to search them out.

QIts one thing to follow sports, report the latest developments to the fans. Its another to base your entire existence on the idea that other people want to know what you think about a certain team or player. Sportscasters are necessary, yes. As a chicago area resident, however, I can tell you that people are way too interested in sports to begin with. Do we really need people on thge radio talking about it 24 hours a day?I think my main problem with sports radio is when the guys get so focused on the off-court, off the field stuff.
