Best Answer : by HESKETHBANKISTHECENTREOFTHEWORLD at 04 June 2008 04:06:09 What do you think about Kazakhstan? Do you think its a good country to work in at the oil sector?Financial Services at 26 November 2006 05:11:13 QThe way Borat described Kazakhstan is hilarious and is fictional. I think Borat is stupid. Anyway Are Kazakh people friendly with foreigners from Europe? How can someone work for an oil company in Kazakhstan? Can you list the major Kazakh oil companies? AI am from Kazakhstan. I have 5 years of experience of life and work in the "oil and gas" part of Kazakhstan (Atyrau city), western part of Kazakhstan.I think if you possess skills and experience valuable for this industry, you will be in demand by many companies there. The region is rapidly growing and if you decide to go there, it is a good place to work on rotation, esp. if ur company covers all the expenses (accommodaton, food and all that). If you want to bring ur family along , you will have to make a research on schools and other arrangements for them. I know many expats who live there with their families and don't wanna leave. The climate is kinda harsh in the western part (winds) , however the salaries are pretty rewarding. The expat communtities are large, most of the expats are europeans. Kazakhs are friendly with everybody provided the adequate respect is shown towards them. Re the major oil companies : it depends which skills u have and if u r willing to work for an operator or a service provider. AGIP KCO (consortium of several major companies ENI, Shell, Chevron, Exxon) and TengizChevronOil , KazMunaiGas (national) are the largest operators, the service is provided by numerous companies both national and international: Halliburton, Baker Hughes , Schlumberger etc.To get a job in any of them you need to send a resume to their HR dept. PS I also think Borat is stupid.

I was wondering if it is possible to adopt from there if you live there. Ive been researching but al I can seem to find are things for Americans adopting from there. What are the requirements (age, income, permanent residency) if you live there. Please help me as this is something I extremely want to do. Also if you could list some agencies that are in that country I would be most grateful. thanks sooo much! AI'm assuming you are a U.S. citizen? And I am also assuming when you move to Kazakhstan, you will still be a U.S. citizen? You say you can only seem to find things for Americans adopting from Kazakhstan. Well, if you are an American now, you will still be an American whether you move to Kazakhstan or France or Mexico. I would research adoption agencies here and talk to them about your situation. WACAP is a reputable agency that does Kazakhstan adoptions. And I know they work with people living internationally, such as military personnel.

Best Answer : by zim_8 at 17 April 2008 12:04:23See the 1 Answers more for this question How do you book Chimbulak hotels to ski in Kazakhstan?Snow Skiing at 31 October 2011 02:10:12 QNear Almaty is the biggest ski resort in Kazakhstan — but it doesn't have a real website and I don't see how to contact the hotel on the slopes. How do you arrange lodging there / ski passes? Also, what is the best way to get there? AThis is a link to a travel agency in Kazakhstan. You can email them and they should be able to help you:http://tourkz.com/eng/index.htmlWhat you might want to do first is contact a local travel agency near you, preferably one that specializes in skiing, and ask them if they can help make arrangements.Chimbulak has awesome skiing (I know this from personal experience) and it's part of the Medeo complex. You might try Googling Medeo to see if you can find any contact information for them.As for getting there, book a flight to Almaty and take a car from the airport. A travel agency or the people at Chimbulak should be able to arrange a car, if not get a cab and arrange a price before you sit down. It's been a while since I've been to Kazakhstan but one thing I remember well is to fix a price before you get in, and never take the first cab you see. Walk a little distance from the terminal and you'll save some money. If you can find a travel agency to help you it's worth the money. They'll help navigate visa formalities and will arrange transportation from your nearest airport to the hotel at Chimbulak.Enjoy your trip! I wish I could go with you!

I was looking at the Olympus tough series, but quality of indoor photo is very important, and the reviews are awful. Please help! Durability, speed, portability and battery life are all very important. Please respond only if you OWN a camera model that you're recommending, I've already done the relevant google searches. AI have a canon powershot SX10 IS which is great. Its same like G10 but maybe bit lighter weight and price is less. Also Something great about it is its 5.0-100mm f/2.8-5.7 (35mm film equivalent: 28-560mm) lens. So is has great wild angle and telephoto capabilities. I have had this camera for like 6 months now I'm really happy with it. indoor performance is good too. Another good thing is you can make good quality videos with this camera too. Here's photos I have taken with this camerahttp://forums.mangaraiders.com/index.php?topic=1465.0But if you want more camera experts advice goto this forum and ask your question in small compact camera board.
