APaige, I thought I was the only one who wanted to get out of Athens in exchange for State! I'm a freshman here at UGA majoring in Bio-Science and am totally in agreement with your statement about this place not being as it was cracked up to be. I've been wondering if I'm making a bad decision to leave the "better" school and live with my friends and study Biology at State. I know though that it is up to the individual and whatever makes him/her happy. Don't worry so much about what your parents think and more about what is going to make you the most happy. Do that. AGSU School of Nursing is one of the top programs in the country. I hope you can get in - it is highly competitive. The student - faculty ratio is about 8:1, which is outstanding and you will definitely get to know your professors and not be shunted off to some mega-classes taught, usually badly, by TAs.
