AI would say open your horizon. Go to the school that is further away from home so you can get new experiences and meet new people. But also go the school that is cheaper. Paying back students loans is not a joke. Also remember once you graduate when it comes time to getting a job you can also look for jobs out town.

AI am biased, but I really think that you need to consider each school by the program of study in which you are interested. Talk to the admissions people at both places and ask if you can talk to the discipline chairs, faculty, and/or students in the major you want to pursue. I think you also need to consider the size of the school you are in which you are most comfortable. Are you a name or just a number? How much access do you have to faculty? Lastly, the location is important. It's city vs. suburbs (Main Line). The only way to see the difference is to visit both locations.Don't count Rosemont out based on someone else's opinion. Rosemont has high academic standards and a faculty that is best in class. But this is a decision, a very personal one at that, that shouldn't be made lightly.
