5 Why don't engineers create a black box that emits a noise so that it may be easier to detect after a crash?Engineering at 09 June 2009 02:06:30 QI thought of this quickly after reading up more about the recent Air France tragedy. They are looking for a box approximately the size of my hand at the bottom of the Atlantic in water that is more than 20,000 ft deep. If the box emitted a sound (a beeping sound at a particular frequency) a sensitive device--used by investigators--could receive the sound, determine its distance, and easily locate it. AThe black box DOES create a noise -- but it is a RADIO noise, not an audible one.RADIO noises are MUCH easier to detect. A properly tuned radio receiver is MUCH more sensitive than the human ear.Note that ONLY ONE receiver (audio or radio) canNOT determine the direction and distance. You need at least two, and preferably three, such devices in order to "triangulate" the position. Still, the EXACT position cannot be determined, only an approximate search area. It STILL requires some sort of manual "search and rescue" operation, made much more difficult in this case by the fact that the black box is under several hundred feet of water -- generally, far deeper than a human diver can go.
Best Answer : by Gary B at 09 June 2009 02:06:37See the 6 Answers more for this question Would you drive a compressed air car?Other - Cars & Transportation at 07 June 2009 10:06:26 QI saw a show on the History Channel about a car that was made in France. The engineer designed it to run off compressed air. The steering wheel is mounted in the middle rather than the right or left side. There are passenger seats on either side of this vehicle. I believe a sedan of this type can seat at least six people. What's great is that this car has zero emissions. In fact, I heard they were being distributed in Tokyo and Mexico City. Perhaps if GM mass produced these cars, that might help them bounce back. Would you drive a compressed air car?If I'm not mistaken, you can load the energy from a gas station. It only takes about three minutes and costs about $1.75 give or take. The main disadvantage is that it takes four hours to load that actual air compressor tank. I'm talking about he pump used to fuel the car, but that can be done overnight. AI first heard of this car about 2 years ago. It's a neat concept and I wouldn't mind owning one myself. The problem is while it may be a zero emission vehicle where does the energy for creating the compressed air come from? It has the same issue as an electric car. If you have to burn coal to create the energy needed to compress the air for the car then you are replacing one source of smog with another.Unless solar, wind, or nuclear power is used it would not truly be a zero pollution vehicle. You would be better off to run a car on LPG or LNG.

Whatever i am saying, its true. I am a 16 yr old from India. I’ve had a disturbed childhood. My parents divorced when I was two, since then I’ve been living with my mother and grandparents. My father and his family were always extremely rude to my mother for no fault of hers and then my mother moved for a divorce. Sometimes my father would come and visit me, mostly he’d be away from city since he worked as a computer engineer in France but to be honest I never liked him, he never fulfilled any of a father’s responsibilities and furthermore he’d say wrong things about my mother, he’d say that my mother was not good enough to bring me up and that I should’ve left her. When I was eight or so, one day my mother told me that he had developed the motor neuron disease. One knows what that leads to. He would come to our house occasionally to see me, slowly his condition worsened and he was becoming a stone. By the time I was ten, he was almost lifeless, sometimes he’d want to see me I’d always feel uneasy to see a man staring at me lifelessly, his talk was unclear. On the 1st of October 2002 he passed away. His family performed the last rites and we were not called. I didn’t cry since I never knew what a father’s love means. After six years on October 1, 2008, something strange happened, I suddenly woke up(I don’t know why), it was 2 in the morning, suddenly an eerie air went through the room, it was cold, I smelt my father’s favorite perfume – it was impossible since no one comes at 2 am wearing a perfume and then I heard my father’s voice, it said “you have grown up, now you’re almost a man” it paused and began again this time crying “son I know you’re not well, but now I’ve come and I’ll free you from your mother”. I was happy with my mother but now my world is turned upside down. I am not joking I am troubled. Whats the way out? AThere is no way out. Embrace it - not many people have the opportunity to contact their family after they've left. Don't be afraid of it - a spirit is just a person.Ask around for a reputable medium and book an appointment. You have have to go to a couple because there are so many hack's, but when you find a legit one you will know.

The most famous tree of France is the Chapel-Oak of Allouville-Bellefosse, a small village not far from Rouen in Normandy. In fact it is more than a tree: it is a religious monument and an object of pilgrimage. The oak itself is one of the biggest and oldest trees of France, and in it are build two small chapels above each other. Together with the large wooden staircase leading up to the chapels the whole is one of the most curious Roman Catholique sanctuaries all over Europe. About the history is known a lot: in 1669 the priest of Allouville , Abbot Du Détroit and father Du Cerceau decided to build a chapel in the already big and hollow oak, with a small altar with an image of the Virgin Mary. The chapel was dedicated to " Our Lady of Peace ". Later on a second chapel was arranged above the first and an entrance - staircase build. In it a hermit seems to have lived for some time.Siren: This form of siren was developed in 1819 by the French physicist Baron Charles Cagniard de la Tour (1779–1859). His original design used clockwork controlled by a descending weight to produce different rotation rates, and hence the various frequencies. The original siren had 100 holes, each 1/8 inch in diameter. Tomography: splinters), the French dermatologist A. Bocage (1892-1953), drafted during World War 1, came up with a real solution. By means of a stereographic radiographic procedure using complex trigonometric calculations, it was possible to determine the exact depth of a metal object in the patient’s body (Fig. 5). To avoid these strenuous calculations he developed a radiographic technique that made longitudinal sections of the body possible in order to choose a research plan.Even though the discovery was made during the first World War, Bocage didn’t submit his patent until 1921.Archeologist: Despite this solid foundation for future Pakistan studies, it is the field of archaeology which first attracted many French scholars. Their interest was due to the existence of the French Archaeological Mission in Afghanistan which was established in the 1930’s.i Jean-Marie Casal, one of its members, published in 1956 an early paper on the relation between Afghanistan and Indian archaeology. Previously, some organic compounds (such as urea) had been synthesized in the laboratory as a proof of concept, but camphor was a scarce natural product with a worldwide demand. The next year Pierre and Émile Martin, French ironmasters who had licensed Siemens' furnace design, developed a method for measuring the carbon content of molten iron. Thus, the decarburization could be stopped at the steel stage rather than proceeding all the way to wrought iron. This open-hearth process coexisted in industrial practice with the Bessemer process for many years, but eventually proved more economical and displaced it. (now called Siemens-Martin steel process).Dry Cell Battery: Georges Leclanché (1839 - September 14, 1882) was a French electrical engineer. He graduated from the École Centrale Paris engineering school in 1860. Check it out, they have paranormal investigators that will look into your situation. Also paranormal activity usually occurs when there is a lot of chaos in your life. For example, your life is troubled, or your House is a disaster, your anxiety level is higher then normal, you think about it so much it actually appears. Paranormal activity is very real and can sometimes worsen! Once you recognize there is paranormal activity it can sometimes trigger more frequent visits.... Also is can sometimes increase the paranormal activity making it stronger and more apparent. Google search paranormal investigators.... or medium investigators in your area. If it is a "bad Oman" it can start to disrupt your life. Also try not to say the name of the "spirit" as I've heard it can ALSO make paranormal activity more distinct because they become aware that YOU are aware of their presents.Good luck :-)
