Creation of mailing pieces to reach local customer base. Weekly newsletters by e-mail sent to 2300 customers, weekly e-bulletin to 1000 customers. Maintenance of myspace page and website. Assist in booking and advertising of bands. Liason between vendors and senior partners to build and maintain relationships, organize promotions and create marketing and promotional calendar. Work with vendors on marketing pieces. Responsible for scheduling of promotional staff, creation of incentive programs and reward system. Planning and execution of private parties, philanthropic events and charity auctions. Design of seasonal menu for use in restaurants.

    Associate director of marketing department for CulinArt,Inc., a hundred-million dollar company in managed services. Responsible for creation and production of collateral materials for CulinArt, Inc. as well as its family of catering companies (Robbins Wolfe Eventeurs, Philip Stone Caterers and Regal Caterers). Advertising responsibilities included creation of print and web advertisements; ads featured locally in Elements and Woodbury magazines, nationally in Biz Bash and Agenda; on web sites including theknot.com and liweddings.com. Development and implementation of monthly marketing promotions for 108 CulinArt accounts, spread over 3 divisions: business and industry, education, and recreation and leisure. Creation of mailing pieces promoting CulinArt’s catering venues, including holiday, prom and corporate catering. Responsible for clerical duties including maintenance of database of clients and customers, tracking of inquiries and web activity. Part-time event manager for Philip Stone Caterers at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City. Events included galas, fundraisers, cocktail receptions, weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, fashion shows and luncheons for any number of guests between 100 and 1200. Duties included interface with client and vendors, cooperation with kitchen and back of house staff, management of staff of up to 120.

Responsible for counseling and assistance to international students with adherence to Federal Regulations established by United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, Department of the State and Department of Homeland Security. Advisement of students on maintaining lawful non-immigrant status during and post-education, including but not limited to entrance and returning student interviews, program extension and changes of status. Documentation of all advisement appointments. Developed and coordinated special events for the International Students Office. Planned and implemented New International Student Orientation, including individual schedules for all students, planning of all meals and orientation trips to acquaint students with the Hempstead area. Ordering of promotional supplies while remaining in budget, creation of New Student Orientation Guide. Assisted international students with various concerns on campus by acting as a liaison with other departments including Dean of Students Office, Admissions, Advisement, Financial Aid, Residential Life and academic departments. Supported the Director by ensuring that all students maintain proper immigration status within the United States. Knowledge of Hofstra Study Abroad programs as well as international study abroad insurance. Oversaw planning of annual Study Abroad Fair by study abroad coordinator.
